Steam engine 'Excelsior', of The Great Whipsnade Railway, descends through the Passage through Asia section. Herds of Père David's deer (Elaphurus davidianus) and fallow deer (Dama dama) in foreground.
A view over the western portion of the Passage through Asia drivethrough, from the northern end/entrance. In the foreground are the current four female banteng (Bos javanicus). In the left background can be seen (part of) the Monkey Forest exhibit. Drivethrough was closed entire day.
These banteng (Bos javanicus) (with another, out of shot to the right) were walking from the vicinity of the large housing at the north end of Passage through Asia, up the hill towards the paddocks on the right of the PtA entrance drive.
