This was a pet macaw that was set free in the wild a few years ago and surprisingly survived. She lives in the woods, but likes to stay near the pubs and farms of the region.

The exhibit consists of a rather large island, encircled by a moat full of koi, pond skaters and frogs. The howlers come out in the afternoon. I was lucky enough to hear the howlers vocalising, and surprisingly it sounded like a sort of growling? Got an audio recording if anyone wants to hear...
