So for those of you that have visited, which 10 zoos would you say constitute the top 10 in the Netherlands, and why? Personally I would put (in no particular order) Burgers', Apenheul, Blijdorp, Ouwehands, Beekse Bergen, Artis, Avifauna, Dierenrijk, Amersfoort and GaiaZOO in there.

Here's a concept for an alligator enclosure surrounded by a reptile/nocturnal house, in three sizes. The alligators would mostly live in the outside enclosure, but should they hybernate or something, they'd go indoors. NOTE: This version is quite a lot earlier than the other two.

Hard to get a nice eye-level photo in the Lion enclosure as the best place for a clear view is from the balcony; so it was great that this lioness decided to head up into the tree for a spell. Didn't have trouble coming down, though looked very lost at first (as it seems, many cats do)
