Reptilia rescued a small caiman July 7th from Catfish Pond in High Park. It is likely an abandoned pet dumped in the pond. They are now working with animal services to decided on the best home for the caiman.

So on June 24th I will be flying to the Netherlands to live there for four weeks volunteering at Stichting AAP with their large monkeys (macaques, baboons etc). Whilst over there I will be paying visits to Apenheul, Burgers' Zoo and Dierenrijk.

I know that this may become an intense topic of discussion based on people's differing opinions...but I thought maybe it would be a fun idea to sort of poll the top zoos in Europe not based on current statistics (TripAdvisor's lists for example) but purely on the facilities, species diversity...
Here is an open-ended question to all:
'Good' means many different things to many different people. People go to zoos with different objectives. Often you hear or read visitors reviews describing zoos as being 'good'. Then how does one define 'good' in the context of a zoo?
