This is a good new! New genetics for long term survival of the African bush elephants in the US. Importations should be allowed, except if that would be detrimental to the survival of the species in the wild. Because there is not a lot of free space left for wild animals, and because they can be killed by poachers, or whiped out by natural disasters like fires or tsunami; hopefully that will never happen in the western tip of Java, otherwise would whipe out all Javan rhinos.
