The irony is that the hotel that asked for the earthworks to be carried out, derives its income from tourists that go to see the turtles! Talk about bad press! It's a shame about the turtles - one wonders if the operators of the earth-moving equipment didn't realise (or didn't care) that they were crushing turtles.
