Houston Zoo $50 Million African Forest Exhibit

According to this news article, the gorillas are coming from facilities in South Carolina, Kentucky, and New Orleans. I think the zoo mentioned where the bachelor males are coming from but I can't remember.

I totally can't wait for this exhibit. The Houston Zoo is a great zoo but it doesn't have like, a big exhibit. I'm sure this gorilla one will draw in lots of guests.
 
Houston has become my favorite zoo in Texas recently. They have a dynamic future. They have an amazing collection. And, with the addition of African Forest, they finally have great exhibits.

BTW, I REALLY hate the stupid people on the Chronicle's website, complaining about tax dollars being spent on the zoo and that there is an admission charge, you know, the non profit zoo, that relies on donations to exist.
