Hello! I'm very happy to be using this interesting platform of zoo chat. I already know about it's existence for a long time, but I decided to register and post very few months ago. Nevermind, let me introduce myself!
My name is David Matos Mendes, I'm brazilian, born and living in the metropolis of Belo Horizonte. As everyone here, I'm obviously obsessed with animals of every kind, and met the wild animals for the first time when I was two years old, at my city's zoo. Since them, many many years past and I researched and learned a lot about a zoo's role in modern times. I have visited many zoos and met many people that work with conservation and environmental education in these institutions, and I plan learn more and more everyday about the ways we can conservate our fauna, and how we can do it.
I hope I can post and answer interesting topics and posts related to all that this platform has to offer.
