Aside, it is CITES approved and monitored by Namibian authorities under the provisions for zoo and captive-breeding.
No, this pertains to the emirate of Sharjah. Dubai is a separate entity and Emirate within the UAE.
I assume this park at Adh-Dhaid to also be an entirely new venture (and having to nothing to do with the Sharjah Desert Park and Zoo.

I have read somewhere that the new zoo in Dubai will only keep animals from the 'old' Dubai Zoo and other captive animals belonging to the endangered breeding program.
