Well, here is a southern California zoo I just found out about: Hesperia Zoo. The town of Hesperia is in the high desert, on the other side of the San Bernadino Mountains on Interstate 15. Looks like a kind of homemade zoo that is only open for guided tours on weekends. Maybe someone out there will visit and give us a report.
