Jack Heathcote in Nottingham UK, has built a 4'800 gallon aquarium in the basement of his house, believed to be the biggest home aquarium in the UK it is 13 feet square and 7 foot deep.
In the tank are two chainsaw doradids, three 2ft long Pacus, some Pangasius, a Red tail hybrid catfish, two alligator gars, eight enormous stingrays and two Fly River turtles.

Wow, very impressive. :) Isn't the species selection almost exactly the same as in London Zoo's Aquarium's biggest tank?
 
Looks very similar to the catfish etc tank at the Blue Planet Aquarium. I'm nowhere near a fish expert but I did wonder if the dimensions were a bit small for such large species.
 
the first comment under that video: "its just 10,000 gal, the biggest home aquarium is 52,000 gallons."

he's actually a moderator on monsterfishkeepers and, as you say, knows full well of larger tanks than his.

There's some very nice stingrays in the tank, but personally I really hate this sort of tank. Monster Fishkeeper types always seem to enjoy looking at grossly overstocked tanks with almost or literally no tank furniture, often (as here) not even any substrate. It just looks ugly.

Do you know what those big fat, oval shaped fish are? I think there are around 3 of them.

I have to agree, when I first saw it I though not even sand or rocks at the bottom. Surely if he had the money to build such a large tank then he would have the money to at least buy a few bags of sand and fill the bottom of the tank up. Or he could just go to the local park with a bucket and spade.....:D

at 0.17? Those are pacu, which are sort of like "vegetarian piranhas"
 
pacu get huge, reportedly up to 1.5 metres in the wild, but usually 60 to 90 cm is a monster in the aquarium world. Google Images has some shots of very big pacu (probably none of 1.5m though!). Search for either "pacu" or "tambaqui"
