Hamerton Zoo Park Aardwolf

It is reported that the 17 year old male aardwolf has died . I believe the 1.1 left are his offspring . New animals need to be imported for the continuation of this fascinating species in the UK .

And the male at Twycross is at least 18 years old,so its not looking good for this species in the U.K.

 

[Orycteropus]

A few month old wild-caught male Aardwolf has arrived from Tanzania to RSCC in the early March.

Hamerton Zoo does not list the species on ISIS anymore.

Last time I looked , Hamerton no longer stock no longer appeared to be on ISIS .
