Columbus Zoo and Aquarium About what possible to be seen on Thanksgiving

Hi there, I just want to use the thanksgiving break of my university to visit the Columbus zoo, I do not familiar with this zoo so I just want to know if the cold weather in this season would let the zoo not show some species.
Besides, I read the news that it seems they closed the aviary enclosure due to the avian flu, is it open now? Thanks a lot!

Most of the aviaries are closed for weather anyway, but Columbus has been one of the most cautious ones. There are several aviaries. Africa will be closed, either at the entrance or past the lions; it was the latter when I went in early November two years ago, but I've heard they sometimes do the whole area. The only aviary open when I visited, pre-avian flu, was the north american one, and it only had a few ducks in it. If it's warm, most other animals will likely be out.

They're indoors. The exhibit has some good hiding spots, though, so no guarantees. I barely saw one, just the back of it, curled up.

If the Pallas's cat juveniles are still there, then you have a better chance of seeing them. Although the usually have their door open to have access to their off exhibit space.

Some sections of Asia Quest may be closed, it has in the past during cooler months. Also, I believe the nocturnal house near the koalas is still closed due to renovations.
