Nampula the E. Bongo actually arrived on the 11th, but it's no big deal. :P

Snippets and Puzzle, the remnants of the hybrid Giraffe herd are still at AA!, as far as I am aware, with male and female Reticulated Giraffe (Kimoni and Kiara respectively) being kept apart, for obvious reasons.

Also, not sure if it's been mentioned here, but Africa Alive are still waiting upon another delivery of a female Reticulated Giraffe. I don't remember where from, though Germany springs to mind again, as the other two were from there.

Re hybrid giraffe: is there already a final destination for them or a park willing to take them on and allow AA to concentrate on breeding reticulateds?
 
A female white Rhino named Norma arrived from Parque oasys Tabernas on the 17th September and has been introduced to the other two females Gracie and Beth.

Sorry but I need to correct this, my information is that the 2 males are not separated because they have been fighting, they have never been introduced and never will. The 2nd male (Quartz) is at Africa Alive! as Banham is holding the 2 male cubs that were born at AA in 2009.

These two males are due to depart soon and then Quartz should return to Banham to be paired up with a female that should arrive from another collection in the near future.

Are you sure that the information you were given was that they are kept apart because if they did put them together they would fight rather than that they have been fighting....just a thought.

If the male cubs from 2009 are at Banham, then who are the 2:0 that Port Lymphe recieved from AA not so long ago?? :confused:

I think the litter contained 4 males and a female so the other 2 males sent to Port Lympne were from the same litter as the 2 currently at Banham.
