I think possibly a new chimp enclosure or possibly bring in a new species such as gorillas

It depends on room really they have got alot packed into the zoo all ready unless they knock something down and go for double height exhibits like the new tropical house.

They said at the talk we went to they are going to expand the kingdom of the wild but cant see how! Also they are going to re do the amur leopard enclosure.

Be nice to see some more tigers!

kingdom of the wild is being expanded- they are making the paddock bigger by taking away the path down the vulture valley side that leads round to the path between the mixed paddock and the elephant paddock

ah i get it now and there is wasted space/path at the top to on the path that goes to the cheetahs and hyenas etc!

Doesnt the road train end there too on the path or do you think you will still be able to walk round the vultures and free flying birds and maybe they will make a new path through to the Black and white Colobus Monkeys and cheetahs and round that way

maybe a new tiger enclosure or a bigger african plains exhibit, i dont know

OOPS sorry :o

When i first started answering it didnt have the chester zoo bit and because I had just replyed to thread Roz had put on colchester post i wrongly assumed meant croc/tropical house planned at colchester :o

Backs out of post :(

Only about a third of the land owned by Chester Zoo is currently utilised by the zoo. The rest is farmland.

sorry this is a colchester thread- forgot to give the thread a zoo cos it the first thread i created
