AI on facebook

Hi

I'm sure some of you use facebook and post photos of zoo trips on there, so I was wondering if you have been getting flooded by awful AI images lately. I assume there are AI accounts launched by facebook, as so many have the same initial comments, like Great Photography, when it's obviously not.

Just wondering.

I don't use Facebook (except to check the social media accounts of zoos for interesting updates) and I don't use it for photography, but the image flood is not likely to be official.

It's more likely they are attention bots - targeted / looking for clicks to generate ad revenue. AI means bots on these platforms can push out more and more content more regularly.

It's a pain to have rubbish images in feeds. I guess someone might know ways of blocking it, the only one I'd be aware of is to make things private.

Thanks for that. Pretty much covers it, although thankfully I've had more cow images than religious types.
