Akron Zoo
Originally built on about 25 acres, this former children's/Mother Goose Zoo has evolved rapdily into a diverse small zoo.
In 2000, the zoo expanded futher into the surrounding parkland to 50 acres and the development of the zoo exploded with the additions of a former botanical garden, new entrance, and a series of exhibits (Legends of the Wild) the brings a cultural connection to the variety of SSP species housed in this area.
