Giant African Longhorn Beetle (Petrognatha gigas)
This species is found in the rainforests of Central and West Africa. One of the largest longhorn beetle species in the world, they can grow up to 100mm in length. They feed on rotting wood both as larvae and as adults, their cream and black colouration helps them camouflage on trees.

Japanese Black Weevil (Pachyrhynchus infernalis)
Weevils of the genus Pachyrhynchus are found on islands in South East Asia, particularly in the Philippines, however, this species is found on two Japanese islands east of Taiwan, being Ishigaki and Taketomi. Other species of the genus are considered threatened due to habitat loss, however this species is considered stable.
