A few French collections have (or used to have) only French or European native species : Chizé, Sainte-Croix, parc animalier des Pyrénées, Fort-Mardyck, réserve des monts d'Azur...
I add that Fort-Mardyck hosts species of French overseas territories too.
Some of the parks (Monts d'Azur) display large hoofstock in semi-wild conditions, where there are also a large array of local wildlife (really wild) as Lynx, Gray wolf or Golden eagle !
There are also some wolf parks that display Gray wolves of different subspecies (including Asian or American), plus a few other species of wild (Red deer, Fox...) or domesticated species.
Several aquaria display only native freshwater and sea species.
Finally there are bird parks mainly designed to display wild birds in preserves (Pont de Gau, Teich, Marquenterre...) with a few captive birds of native species (primarily kept for rescue, rehabilitation or reintroduction purposes).
