Amazing footage of hunting tigerfish

African tigerfish have been filmed catching swallows in flight by scientists.
The behaviour was filmed at Schroda Dam, a man-made lake in Limpopo Province, South Africa.

Fisherman and locals have known about this all their lives I'm sure, but what do they know? Good to see that scientist are listening more and ridiculing less. Still, I wonder why they say it's "the first evidence"? Surely before the days of cameras, observation was sufficient.
