This is a fantastic bit of footage. Some researchers in Utah put out seven calf carcasses alongside camera traps to study scavenger behaviour in the Grassy Mountains. One of the carcasses went missing, and when they viewed the footage they discovered that an American Badger had spent five days burying the entire calf as a food cache. I like how the footage ends with the badger just sitting on the ground above the buried calf looking very satisfied with itself.
