WMSP used to have an American section in the drive thru which held wolves, llamas, wapiti and bison, well the wolves and llamas are still there (although you'd miss the llamas unless you looked really hard as they are hidden at the back of the fun fair area), but what happened to the wapiti and bison?

the last time i went the bison were in an off show area on the left just as you leave Wolf Wood and enter the asian drive thru area.

RTB1987,
How long ago was that?
My last visit was in October and I didn't see them, although I wasn't looking for them in the area you have told me to look.
I guess the park doesn't have an American area now so they became surplus, hope someone has them if they're still not at the park.

It was around May or June last year so they could have been moved to another zoo or safari park by now.

I thought they haven't had bison for many years, but saying that I have never been to WMSP. The website and map has not mentioned or pin pointed any bison in the park.

Whether it is right I do not know , but ISIS does not list any American or European bison for WMSP , but does list 0.7 Yak .

I'm sure it was bison but if people are convinced that it was Yak then i'm willing to accept i'm wrong :) either way they are not there anymore according to other people.
