Where's African Lion Safari?

They have the most successful Asian Elephant breeding program in the western hemisphere. They had the first third generation calf born on the North American continent back in 2008.

African Lion Safari is in Canada. The title of this thread is American not North American multigenerational elephant herds, so that's probably why it was not included on this list.

Far as I heard White Oak Conservation Center, Albuquerque Zoo, Endangered Ark Foundation and Oregon Zoo plans to breed their current elephants and Tulsa Zoo plans to breed future elephants

Edit: There's also the newly founded Elephant Refuge North America (ERNA). Started by the same lady who originally founded The Elephant Sanctuary.

They don't breed either and are a retirement facility only. They currently have three Asian Elephants.

ERNA has two Asians (female Tara and male Bo) and African elephant Mundi.

Very hypocrite on Carol Buckley part when she once said Asian and Africans shouldn’t mixed but all 3 seem to get along.

Do African and Asian elephants usually get along or do they have more problems together?

Females will usually get along well, but males aren't put with the other species of either gender in captivity anymore. Someone at the San Diego Zoo told me when I visited two years ago that elephants of opposite species can breed, but any calves they have together however, cannot breed, regardless of gender.
