I visited the zoo on thursday and noticed a few species are no longer part of the zoo´s collection, it seems. I was missing:
- the Black and White ruffed lemurs
- the Golden lion tamarins
- the Geoffroy's cats.
The first two species' enclosures have been completely removed, the latter enclosure is still there, but all the signage has been removed, and it looked as if it has been boarded off... so it seems these species are gone.
Also, there was a sign saying the last Nutria has died, and the species will no longer be visible in the zoo due to European law.
I am wondering what the zoo will do with the freed up space. I hope the Geoffroy's and Nutria's enclosures might free up some more space for the Chimpansee enclosure.

I read in a recent newsletter that there's plans to renovate the chimp enclosure in the upcoming years.
