Amur Tigers in Europe

Went to Yorkshire Wildlife Park this week (Uk).
Heard during the Tiger feed that Altai has been brought in with the recommendation of breeding with their long term female Tschuna, apparently it's the parks decision wether to proceed. They're hesitant as she's older (14 I think she said) but is in really good health. They're also concerned because she's a park favourite and it would be terrible if anything happened in the mating process. But first signs are promising as apparently he is very cool and calm around her in season, not getting himself worked up, and apparently she loves flirting with him. This is all from separate enclosures at the moment.
Is it common to breed from a tiger so old? I think I remember reading on here once that her previous 3 cubs with Vlad at Yorkshire were very genetically important.

I don't think it's very common, but it does happen from time to time.

7-year-old male Amur tiger Kratz has moved from Zoo Magdeburg to Sóstó Zoo. There, he may provide offspring with both female tigers living there.

I am not sure who the two female tigers are and which Amur tigers currently reside at Sóstó Zoo. Does anyone have more information?
In addition to male Kratz, female Irina has also moved to Sóstó Zoo. She was born at Sóstó in 2013 and had been living at Zoo African Safari Plaisance du Touch since 2020.

In the comments, the zoo has said that male Boris/Usanka/Tijs passed away earlier this year.

In Amersfoort (The Netherlands), female Angara has been put to sleep. She was born in 2009 in Leipzig. According to my information, she had one litter in 2014.

Male Tiber (13) left Prague zoo and arrived at Chorzow (=Katowice / Silesian zoo) few days ago.

The Amur tiger exhibit at Prague zoo will be reconstructed soon so animals must move away.
Out of interest, does anybody hold any further info on Tiber? DOB, birthplace, parentage etc?

Tiber was born in July 2012 in Dvur Kralove. Dvur used to keep Amur tigers in the first exhibit where today aardwolves live. Mother was Nina (*12. 6. 2000 Zoo Moscow) and father Jupiter (*9.7.2007 Zoo Moscow).

Tiber was destined to be exported to Japan due to his excellent genetics, but that export for some reason failed. So he was shipped off randomly to Plzen in 2015 because they had vacant space while Dvur wanted urgently to get rid of him. What was temporary move proved more permanent. Tiber then moved 2023 to Prague in exchange for local male, when both pairings failed to produce cubs. And this year, Tiber was silently shipped off to Poland, Prague never publicized this move (Prague is left with just 0,1 Arila).

Dvur used to keep and regularly breed Amur tigers before the zoo decided to go 100% African species ca 2014/2015. Nina was sent to zoo Tabor, no idea about Jupiter. Several Czech zoos used to keep or still have Amur tigers bred at Dvur. Oliver, the breding male at Hluboka, is Tiber´s brother, for example.
