Animal abbreviations

Some animals have such long names, like the scheepmaker's crowned pigeon or the Lesser sulphur crested cockatoo. Here we can abbreviate names, so it saves time when posting. You'll know at least one!

Bird of Paradise is BoP
Guinea pig is GP
Palawan peacock pheasant is PPP

Have you got any ideas?
 
I find BoP quite confusing sometimes because I am used to using BoP as Bird of Prey. Perhaps that is because I have an interest in wildbirds and we don't have too many wild Bird's of Paradise in the UK.
 
abbreviations are common on fish forums (eg, BGK for Black Ghost Knifefish) and in birder lingo (eg, in NZ SIPO stands for South Island Pied Oystercatcher), but I think on a zoo forum it would just get confusing due to the sheer number of abbreviations that would pop up, and because not everyone on here is an animal expert, some are just enthusiastic zoo-lovers.
