I've had a scan through the existing posts to no avail (or I am blind) can anyone help me out with the names of the Tigers at WMZ please - I have a friend who is an artist and would like to put some names to the faces

Also the snow leopards Otilia & Szechuan - I'm assuming that Otilia is the female - is this correct?

Karoocheetah the Sumatran Tigers at WMZ are siblings called Daphne and Flynn born in the 1990's. I don't know if their pure bred or not.

ISIS lists the pair at WMZ as being Panthera tigris sumatrae rather than hybrids. The one we saw a few weeks ago was distinctly pottery.

Can anyone identify whether this is Daphne or Flynn?

Yes they are.

SMR apart from the obvious signs I could not tell which is which.

Karoocheetah this is the information about the Sumatran Tigers:

WMZ renamed the pair when they arrived so are now no longer named Flynn and Daphne they are now called Bryn the male and Zeta the female. Zeta was born 11/11/96 and Bryn born 22/09/98 both were born at Thrigby.

ah cheers Jordan - I really hope I'm not going to offfend anyone here but I really don't like english names for animals - seeing a mighty tiger called Daphne just doesn't appeal I'm afraid (sorry to all the Daphne's out there). Mind you Bryn & Zeta are not much better in my book either!!
Think I'd better stop before there is a queue around the block seeking my head :O)
