He tries to broker animals for Animal Source Texas. I'm not sure he actually moves any of those animals listed. I mean come on who actually looking for a white rhino, hyenas, fishing cats, etc. are actually going to search the web on exotic pet sites? Even Animal Source Texas advertises animals before they actually have them. So in the long run he's advertising an animal that he knows a guy who knows a guy that thinks he can get one......probably not going to happen.

I imagine that this kind of exotic animal breeding might be fueled more by entertainment industries and unaccredited, sometimes roadside, zoos rather than the exotic pet industry. (I'm not sure if accredited zoos frequently buy from private breeders or not) Although, granted, just about any animal there is, there's somebody who's gonna try to get it as a pet. Anyway. There are businesses where you can rent out exotic animals for parties, photoshoots, commercials, TV and movie tapings, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if there were at least a couple of companies offering rhinos for rent, though I am having trouble finding some because if I type in "rent a rhino" on Google, it seems there are a number of products called Rhino.

Fishing cats aren't very large, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a decent demand for them as pets. Small exotic cats are increasingly getting exposure as cool pets. Shoot, I've seen videos online of some playing in bathtubs in peoples homes. And this thread made me curious about the types of exotic pets on the market, so I went to a site where people can post the exotic animals they're selling, and on the first page there are already a few fishing cats for sale.

Also be aware that some websites or ad listings for exotic animal sales are nothing more than internet scams. You will wire them money to allegedly get the permits started and that is the end of the transaction.

While AZA facilities generally (with some exception) trade and do not buy animals, a lot of other public zoos do buy animals I believe.
