Animal species that neither London,Berlin,Moscow,Leipzig or Cologne keep/have kept

It strikes me looking on Zootierliste that there are almost no major species that either Berlin Zoo, Tierpark and London Zoo have not kept. These three collections have kept almost all the animal species you can think off. And the few major species that these collections have never held have been kept by the three collections of Moscow, Leipzig and Cologne. So my question is, are there any major animal species that the Berlin Zoo, Berlin Tierpark, Moscow, Leipzig and Cologne have not kept?

Dodo
Steller's Sea Cow
Woolly Mammoth
Tyrannosaurus rex

:p

But in all seriousness, I think the largest mammalian species which *has* been held in captivity within Europe but *not* in any of the collections you cite may well be the Kouprey (Bos sauveli) which was held at Vincennes Zoo in Paris. A somewhat smaller contender which also qualifies, the Indri (Indri indri), was - curiously enough - briefly held at the exact same time at Menagerie Jardin des Plantes, also in Paris.

TLD beat me to it with indri, but there are quite a few other unusual primates, including some of the sportive lemurs, woolly lemur, several sifaka and mouse lemur species, a few tarsiers, Gee's langur and I'm sure you could find more with a little more research . . .

Pygmy Hog?

Bred at London in 1883, 1884, 1885 and 1886. None of the young survived, with some being eaten by the sow. Maybe if more privacy had been offered, and more animals imported, the species could have been established in captivity before World War I.

A species kept and bred even today at Rotterdam and kept at Antwerp but never in one of the mentioned zoos is the Red and black sengi !
