Animals freeze to death

Really sad news. I guess we cannot expect a small town zoo in Mexico to have backup power generators like a major American zoo would. Or maybe we should expect it?
 
I think this actually a two year old news report that resurfaced for some reason. That zoo was a really terrible place that was going to be moved to another location In Chihuahua state by recommendation by PROFEPA enviromental authorities. I really do not travel to northern Mexico very often, so i do not know if the move was actually made. In Northern Mexico, people who have passports say that when they wish to see a good zoo they go to San Diego or Houston.
