Animals that you are for some reason scared of (Like really scared)

I don't truly hate any animals (again, besides some individuals and subcultures of Homo sapiens), but I must admit that I dread all manner of parasites; maggots such as bot flies especially make my skin crawl. As for larger, less obvious animals, I still see that megamouth shark in formaldehyde from the Los Angeles Natural History Museum in my nightmares, staring at me with those dead, soulless eyes... And of course, if I were locked up unprotected with a big cat, bear, chimp, crocodile, cobra or, worst of all, a hungry pack of hyenas or wild dogs, there are no words to describe how terrified I'd be. There are very few deaths out there worse than being torn apart for minutes on end by a whole crowd of canines or hyenas.

Botflies are easily my least favorite animals. I have officially sworn off looking at pictures/videos of them for the sake of my imagination (I do NOT want to be their incubator).
I only like scorpions if they are behind glass. 8 years ago, my mother was stung by a scorpion while she was walking our dog and got sent to the hospital for a few days. A year or two later, she got stung by another scorpion and was sent to the hospital again. I'm not afraid of them, but seeing one in my parents' house affects me.

Goddamn that's such bad luck! o_O I just hope she's doing ok now. I don't know too much about North American scorpions, but any scorpion sting is bad, especially the more gracile species. Although, I must admit, scorpions are my absolute favourite invertebrate; they're just so cool looking, and I really like their biology. Close seconds are dragonflies and Hercules beetles.
