Animals you made up as a kid:

I also made up animals when I was younger and I still do like the Pronghantelope and the other ones that I am going to describe and the pronghantelope is an antelope but it looks like a pronghorn with its prongs and is also related to the okapi and giraffe.
The American wildcat a creature that looks like the Scottish wildcat but lives in the Americas.
The Highland Tiger a tiger that is only found in a biome known as the highlands.
The African Bighorn a species that looks like the bighorn sheep but lives in Africa.
The American giraffe an animal that looks like a mix between the giraffe and okapi that has two necks a short and a long one and it uses its lower neck to eat bushes and shrubs while the longer neck can look out for predators like the American tiger and the American leopard but it can also use its long neck to reach the top of the trees on the outskirts of the habitat that it lives in.
The American Snow Leopard a snow leopard like creature that can change its fur coat like the arctic fox and it preys upon the Muskox, American Yak, American Ibex and the American Blue sheep.

Saltwater deer! A type of deer that would often swim near the seashores and beaches, simply for enjoyment. Sort of like Gabon's surfing hippos.

Western Giant Hippopotamus, which lives is western North America. A calf weighs weighs about three hundred pounds at birth, and between seven thousand and twelve thousand pounds when fully grown.

Another species I made up was the Northern Black Rhinoceros, which lives in Northern Africa, an has a similar size to an Eastern Black Rhinoceros.

I made up a lot of animals as a kid, and still do to this day. And the list is a rather long one too.

But a common type of animal I made was a tiger subspecies much bigger and both the Bengal and Amur Tiger.

And I just made up some more animals like the African elk an elk that has a long neck and antlers like the Irish elk.
The Scottish elk which is an elk but is only found in Scotland and is the size of red deer.
The Eurasian okapi an okapi like creature that roams the rainforests of Asia and also the steppes of Eurasia where it feeds on shrubs.
The American Chevrotain a Chevrotain that looks like the water Chevrotain but lives in the Americas where it’s prayed upon by jaguars.
The African barking deer aka the African muntjac a muntjac that lives in the forests of Africa.
The rampant antelope an antelope that is found across Europe and has a reddish hue on its skin and it looks like the gerenuk when it’s standing up.
The American tiger a tiger that lives in the Americas and it looks like the Amur tiger in size and shape however it can change its color and body shape to match up with the habitats that it can be found in and here are some examples if it’s living on the open tundra it would be all white with no stripes and have the paws of the snow leopard, if it’s living in the taiga aka coniferous forests and temperate forests it would look like an Amur tiger, if it’s living in open grassland it would look like a lion and the only habitats that it would not live in are the deserts, mountains and rainforests and it would face competition from the Grizzly bear, Jaguar, mountain lion and black bear.
the 10 horned antelope an antelope that can be found in Africa, Asia and North America and it would have 10 horns however the horns would come in many shapes each with two horns and these shapes are smooth slightly curved horns, flattened horns that widen to forked tips, fan shaped horns and the last 4 horns would resemble the horns of the four horned antelope and these 10 horns would represent the shapes of horns that the extinct relatives of the pronghorns had.

I recall creating a “Butcher Bird”, which was a small, green, carnivorous jay-like bird that would attack small sleeping animals, tear them apart, and nest in the entrails. Mind you I was eight years old at the time!

And I have come up with even more animals like 1. The American duiker a duiker that lives in the rainforests of central and South America where it is preyed upon by jaguars, anaconda, Caimans and Ocelot.
2. The Asian Bison a creature that looks like the American Bison that lives on the steppes and it would have the ability to run as fast as the Mongolian gazelle so it can outrun the wildfires and it’s only predator would be the Grey Wolf.
3. The Woolly aka American Gazelle a kind of gazelle that would roam across the Great Plains of Canada, The USA and Mexico and it would be preyed upon by the coyote, Grey Wolf and Wolverine and on occasion when one strands two far from the heard, Mountain lions and bobcats.
4. The American Saiga a species of Saiga antelope that would live on the plains, tundras and semi deserts of the continental United States, Canada and Alaska and it would only come to the continental United States during the calving season and it would come to the semi desert during the winter season.
