Animals You Saw At A Zoo You Don't Remember

Oakland zoo’s chimpanzees. I went there like 5 years ago, ago. No pictures, no memory. I pretty much didn’t even think about that zoo until some months ago when I found the zoo map. I literally shouted out “what!”

Antwerp 2004.
I found pictures a few months back, and among them Tiger pictures. It's clearly from Antwerp, as I recognize the enclosure when going back in 2016 and it's in a folder called Antwerp, lol, and I remember all other animals in the other pictures, but I have no memory at all of Tigers being there when I went in 2004. Even looking at the pictures, I simply can't remember.

The most obvious one to me are the Elephants. I know I saw them, I know the environmental groups protested them. But I legit do not actually remember them.

They repurposed the African exhibit into a mixed use Giraffe and Hippo (Elephants of course had large area) but it seems like Giraffe been there forever (in reality last Elephant left 2011).

Some of the monkeys formerly held in Tropic World Africa at Brookfield, such as red-capped and black crested mangebeys. As a kid I usually looked for the pygmy hippo and looked forward to the gorillas and was distracted immediately from the smaller monkeys. I do recall seeing the guereza and mandrill because their colorful looks stuck out though. Also there, I definitely saw the now closed Reptile House but my memory of it is fragmented so most species once present in the building would qualify, save for the tortoise/caiman exhibit.

The tayra, black bear and dall sheep at Milwaukee County Zoo, and very possibly the potto.
