Super jealous about the platypus!I have seen platypus, barbary deer, and giant eland at SDZSP. I’m not sure how common giant eland are in Europe though.

The Giant Eland, Barbary Deer, & maybe Platypus have all been seen by more than a few people, mainly because SDZSP is a widely-visited collection.I have seen platypus, barbary deer, and giant eland at SDZSP. I’m not sure how common giant eland are in Europe though.
And also because most Australian ZooChatters will have seen Platypus. The Giant Eland, Barbary Deer, & maybe Platypus have all been seen by more than a few people, mainly because SDZSP is a widely-visited collection.

Sorry I meant subspeciesNo, the species at SDZSP is Giant eland. "Eastern" is not a species.
What about Sea apples? May be hard to notice. I barley saw these majestic sea cucumbers at Sea life california.
2. Humpback Whale in Mexico
I’ve seen sea apples in pet stores.Klipspringer? I think I saw one at the San diego zoo during my trip. Is there multiple Klipspringer species?
What about Sea apples? May be hard to notice. I barley saw these majestic sea cucumbers at Sea life california. Does me going to the tide pools and seeing a reddish colored black spotted sea slug count?Pretty big. Probably a sea hare though since sea slugs are small.
Then why'd you post it in this thread??I know.
Yeah, I’ve seen em too in California.I've seen both, as quite a few other Zoochatters have. As well as quite a few of the other species being mentioned currently.
This species is also kept in Europe & East Asia, and the aforementioned Langur at Philadelphia has been seen by quite a few ZooChatters. The now-deceased douc langur in Philadelphia; apparently one of the only zoos outside their native range to have kept them (with the same captivity issues as the more famous proboscis monkey)
Branching off of the main question on this thread, has anyone seen any now extinct animals in the past? If so, that is really cool and I'm very jealous!![]()

They are entirely non-existent in Europe.
I've only ever seen them in the US (San Diego '98 and Miami '13).
