Chester Zoo Another first reptile breeding

Speaking of Helodermids, are the Gila monsters breeding? On some previous visits the enclosure was darkened and I assume they were in a cooling period - last week everything was back to normal so I assume they are warming?

I had forgotten about Jersey!

Well we have London,Chester and a private breeder that beat all the Zoo`s!!

I noticed last week at Bristol that in the Reptile House list of breedings 1 Gila monster had been bred . Also their adults were housed for their cool period in plastic/glass-fronted Reptile boxes in the small Tortoise Summer House .

Yes he has worked at Jersey and London.

Yes,but Jersey only breed them after Richard arrived at Chester,I`m not sure about London as I`m sure it was around the time that he joined Chester.So the only place I`m certain he was working at the time of this species breeding is Chester!
