I m a bit struggling with something and hope someone can give some advise. At my work we have a project fund for personal development. Employees are encouraged to apply with projects to this fund and develop activities to help them in their personal development and at the same time do some volunteering.
Now my main work is being a trainer and to develop and give trainings plus educational strategies. The trainings are mainly focussed on participation, project management and active citizenship. Now I considered combining this background with my personal interests.
So my question is: would any zoo or conservation project be interested in someone with this background and who's willing to work on creating awareness and involving young people in conservation. (I could help setting up the educational strategy or give trainings or workshops myself)
Especially as my costs would be covered. It would be for 3 or 4 weeks which is hell short but I do have quite some expertise on trainings and campaigning.
So again would this be realistic and secondly where to start as I realise that most projects and zoos will be overwhelmed with requests.
