Heard several times about the Lubee Bat Conservancy in Gainsville ( Florida ) and would like to learn more about this zoo. Is it open to the public, has anyone ever visited it and which species are kept and bred there ? Hope someone can help.

They're also very friendly in email contact - I've been in touch with them about arranging a visit when I'm in Florida in October and they're expecting me - date to be confirmed in a month or two but all being well I'll be much more helpful on the topic by the end of the year.
