April fools pranks!

Since it’s April 1st today, I thought of this thread for sharing your pranks of the day!

I’ll go first. I photoshopped an image of a short eared owl on my balcony, and I told my friend that a short eared owl came to my balcony. I told him I shined a flashlight at it, got a photo, and then it flew away. To make him actually believe, I uploaded it on eBird, took a screenshot, and then deleted the checklist. He is freaking out right now

I "announced" in my theater group's group chat that we were doing Cats in Fall 2024. At first, it seemed like nobody got it until a friend of mine said "Stop, why did I actually fall for that for like 10 seconds, I got so worried lol". Everyone else then started to play along, saying they were either stage managing, doing lights or codirecting Cats.

I usually love April Fools Day, but since I'm on holiday, I didn't actually cook anything up this year. The closest was I considered posting a fake zoo-related project here.
