Aquarium for Punta Gorda?

I drove past the site for the aquarium a while ago and it was an walmart that a huricane destroyed. It still needs to get more funding to even start building and the exhibit space total would be only 60,000 square feet while shedd aquariums total is 480,000 square feet (for shedd this might be the entire aquarium total not just exhibits).
