Are there any animals NOT found in ANY zoo?

According to Zootierliste, Cotswold Wildlife Park had a pink fairy armadillo in the 1990s.
I suspect that there was confusion with a large hairy armadillo, also held in the same decade.

The story behind that is on the forum somewhere. I think it is highly suspect.

You might want to check out this video(and his others too) by a zoochatter which is an excellent interview with the foremost expert on the pink fairy armadillo, Dr Mariella Superina.

Mariella mentions the pink fairy armadillo and how challenging it is to keep in captivity / ex-situ.

 
I’m not sure if this has been mentioned on this thread yet, but I don’t think there are any Pygmy Two-Toed Sloths in captivity, although I’m pretty sure I heard from somewhere that the Dallas World Aquarium tried to illegally import them.

This is correct (though it's three-toed, not two ;)). There was some discussion and I posted an article about the DWA incident on the "Are These in Captivity" thread not too long ago.

A few Asiatic cheetahs are part of a breeding program in Iran but I am unsure about how visible these individuals are. Most of the cheetahs are in breeding centers but there is a pair held in Tehran that might be easier to get to.

Arabian leopards are held in the UAE at a few institutions.
Haven't heard of any Giant pangolin in a zoo, there are probably a few individuals in sanctuaries in western Africa but that's only a guess.
 
There were two asiatic cheetahs at Pardisan Park in Iran, but they were transferred to Turan/Touran National Park last year in hopes that they would have a successful breeding.

Yes, I seem to remember seeing pictures of some captive individuals of these in Iran, it was in an article online quite a few years ago.

Hope it works out but I know efforts there have been very badly hit lately.
