Didn't know that they were kept at Jersey too, I thought they only had the Waldrapp ibis there.

Are glass frogs difficult to keep? I appreciate they are tiny, so their transparent body may not look interesting. Even if one could design an exhibit cleverly, e.g. with a glass floor and a mirror underneath.

Another cool creature, but very small, is mutable rain frog Pristimantis mutabilis.

Jersey have had Madagascar Crested Ibis for the past eleven years, and Waldrapp maybe four times that

I had absolutely no idea about the Madagascan crested ibis but I did know about the Waldrapps.

Even luckier: as I've mentioned elsewhere on ZooChat, an Antwerp Zoo keeper saw me struggling to photograph the New Guinea harpy eagle through the bars of its aviary, so he very kindly unlocked the aviary door and let me go inside to make photography easier!

I guess this is the same bird I have an Antwerp postcard of?

Yes, I'm definitely sure they must be out there in more collections in the USA and perhaps Canada or Europe too.

Probably just within Mexico and the USA then.

In Mexico they are / were at Zoomat in Chipas, Chapultepec zoo in Mexico city and quite possibly at Guadalajara zoo in Jalisco too.
