Armadillo Diet

Can someone help me? I need a diet for armadillos? Do all species eat the same diet?

At work experience we fed the Armadillo a small tin of cat or dog food, boiled rice, and a banana, which was all blended together into a paste. We also thinned it down a bit with some water.

umm, in the wild I know that Armadillo's eat mostly insects, and also baby birds and eggs sometimes,
So large juicy insects are mostly on the menu,
