Artis Amsterdam will change 0.2 Western Lowland Gorillas with another park.

Does Artis still do a labelled map on the internet? As on there website the pictures of the animals and where they are aren’t exhibited on the map and wondered if I was looking in the wrong place?

Edit looked at the printed version, the map does got numbers, so it's just the online version that is missing them, probably because its interactive.

This is just from memory and might be very much wrong, but I think they switched from the more two dimensional style with numbers to a more realistic aerial view a bit over a decade ago, that no longer included the numbers and instead adopted icons. But its been a while since I have been there in person, so this might be just a false memory.

The Grévy's zebras have left the zoo. Last week, the stallion left for Rome, and today the mares also left and are on their way to Switzerland.

The moves were decided in consultation with and on the advice of the EEP. These animals can better contribute to maintaining a healthy, genetically strong population in other zoos.

In time, three plains zebras will return to the savannah at Artis.

has there been some problems with their enclosure? was their not a possibility to improve this situation?

Artis kept this species for some years.
 
yes, thanks answering. they did not a clear reason for this change in their public announcement.
but there must be a reason. combination of species? housing, animals, veterinary?

Is there any information on which zoo the zebras went to? Zurich Zoo is currently listed as the only holder for Grévy's zebras in Switzerland, but they did not receive any new individuals.

No, it has not been mentioned which zoo they have been moved to.
