Asian Golden Cats in ARAZPA

What is the status of Golden Cats within ARAZPA zoos? Has there been much breeding success? Are there enough individuals to keep the program viable? Are they a phase-out species?

LOU, I think you may find they are another phase out species

Yep, they are almost gone.
There are 3 or 4 in New Zealand, but only one in Australia, Melbourne's female. They are all quite old, I believe.

Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone, but the only small cat which is in ARAZPA's plans seems to be the Fishing Cat.

Servals - of course! (Dunno how I forgot them.) There are about two dozen in the region.
None at Taronga though.
