I think the female is KIBA (born April 21, 2007 in Magdeburg) from PARYS and KALINDI. Arrived in OSTRAVA in 2011.

It seems so! I have found her name before but since Ostrava does not mention names I could not find any recent info at the time and did not add her to the list.

This is KALINDI, born to RAJESH and YAMUNA.
There was confusion of name between the two sisters.
KALINDI left for Maubeuge.
KAMPTI, her litter sister, left for La Boissière du Doré, under the name of KALINDI.

KALIKA died between August 18, 2023 and July 16, 2024.

17-year-old Asian lioness Kiba has died at Zoo Ostrava. Due to her advanced age and deteriorating health, she was euthanised. The zoo now only has the 12-year-old male Sabal. A new female is being sought in consultation with the EEP.

Any idea about the parents of Kiara? In my databse I find these four lions in Jerusalem: Aryah, Gir/Ziv, Yasha, Yillie.

On the instagram page from Schwerin they say their male lion Ravi is now living in Kolmarden together with females Priya and Taara from Aalborg. The females father is Aakash but is their mother Roberta or Mitaali?

Two Asian lions were born at Cologne Zoo last week. Unfortunately, they had to be euthanised after a few days because their mother Gina did not accept or care for them. The chances of survival for the premature cubs were very slim from the outset.

Mother Gina was separated from the rest of the lions with her cubs to give them some peace and quiet. However, Gina kept wanting to return to her older cubs, aged 1.5 years, which meant she did not care for the young cubs sufficiently. It had already been decided in advance, together with the EEP, not to raise the lion cubs by hand, as this would lead to them forming an unhealthy attachment to humans.

It is hoped that when at least two of the three older cubs have left the zoo this autumn, breeding with the lions can resume.

On July 19th, an Asian lion was born at Zoo Schwerin. The parents are Shapur and Rubi. At 16 years old, Rubi is one of the oldest known Asian lionesses to raise offspring.
