Asian lions in the UK

Twycross last 2 Asian Lions were the 2 females now at Dudley.They were held in what is now the Striped Hyena enclosure.

Both transfered on 17th November 2009

Paignton's new dad, Mwamba, was born in Twycross in 2004 and came to Paignton in 2006.

The taxon should be returning to Twycross as and when the 'Kuno' development is completed. As far as I'm aware, Twycross remains the studbook coordinator.
