Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus)

Hi all,

I am trying to find out if any zoo in Australia has an Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus). I haven't had any luck so far in my online search, if anyone knows of any government departments I could contact that would also be very handy.

Why do I need to find an Asian Palm Civet? I need a faecal sample for an honour's project.

Thank you,

Maddison

Welcome to the forum @Maddroxstuff,
Unfortunately there are no Asian Palm Civets in Australian zoos as far as I know. The only species of viverrid present in our zoos is Binturong (Arctictis binturong) which can be found locally at Wildlife HQ, Australia Zoo and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
