In that case, I do not have a clue which one is which is Ashok and which is Assok. If the ashok from Planckendael is deceased and didn't father any cubs, then it is not needed in the database.
 
OK....

Ashok (Chessington) is a 1997 Chester born. Siblings are Gita, Kamelesh (Edinburgh) and Sarla (Parken)

Sohan (Ostrava) was born 2003 at Paignton (Litter mate to Indu)

Kamal (Bristol) was born in Helsinki Zoo. Born 1994/5. He was an immature male when he moved to Chester in 1996

Mwamaba (Paignton, ex Twycross) - mother is Kara...or something along those lines, died in 2006

The Chandra at Planckendael IS NOT the 1996 Chester born male!! The 1996 born male lives at Bristol.

When i find time, i will post all lion cubs born at chester, years and current locations. Sometime tonight probably
 
Sorry, Chandra at Planckendael is not the 1994 male from Chester. This thread has got me going round the twist now, so many names to remember!!!

Is this the one born as Rajah? I have different dates for 'Chandra', 'Rajah' from 1994 and Chandra from 1996.

Chandra from Bristol has now retired to Burford/Cotswolds and replaced at Bristol by Kamal.

Midas (currently Moscow, former Paignton)
Sita (currently Mulhouse)
Chandra (currently Planckendael)

Plus, does anyone know where the following individuals reside:
Indi
Dacca
Aeisha
(All born Bristol 1998/2001 to Chandra and Moti)
 
Think Aiesha is now at Besancon and renamed Lady. It was stated earlier in the thread that Indi is/was at Lodz Zoo in Poland.

Wrong lion, the lion in question here is Indi, born 1998 at Bristol Zoo to Rajah and Moti.

And another question:

Cannot find the name of Berlin TP lions anywhere. Anybody know the names of two cubs born 2006 nurnberg?
 
Found out that the Boissiere du Dore female is named Kalindye. The male was Jaipur, born Besancon 2005. Do not know his current whereabouts but ISIS may be incorrect and therefore he could still reside at Boissiere. The Boissiere website seems to be updated fairly regularly. There is mention of the cubs birth in 2008 but no names. Nowhere does it state that Jaipur has departed.

Midas was born to the original pair Arfur and Ruchii (don't think I have spelt that right!) at London in 1993. Arfur died 1996 aged just seven :( and Ruchii died in 2004/2005. One of his brothers was Bellamy who was the original Twycross male. Bellamy went to Rome from Twycross in 2001 to be paired with Asha (now at Chester) however they didn't succeed and Asha came back to the UK on 29/6/06. Bellamy stayed on in Rome but his health caught up with him 2007.

Jamna (ex Paignton) was also from the 1994 (dob 16/9/94) litter of 0:4. Kamal came in the next litter from the same pair in 1996. The four sisters were the first litter from 1:1 imported to Helsinki from India in 1991/1992. The cubs came to London Zoo in 1996 from Helsinki and were sent on to other zoo's once there six months quarentine were over. The whole litter was handreared from birth.

It might be worth emailing Helsinki Zoo for details of this pair.

Lady (as she is now known) would of been the mother of this litter. The father was the previous male who died in 2006/2007. Tejas replaced him.
