Ask and find

Another on for next:

"Why are we going to the coast, mom? We want to play."
"Later, cubs. Now it's the hunting lesson.... Sniff, sniff; we are close. Watch me. Step, step, prey is out; don't move, now step, step, don't move and step, step and.. splash. Phew, I caught it"

moreover the answer to #1903 was the saker falcon
The keys were:

The king died and hasn't left any children, so the kingdom fell; They took us to hunt prey as a show (as a reference to falconry)
I almost forgot the landscape of the plains (as a reference to their habitat)

Male elephant seal?

Another one for next:

I assume the thought is salmon but think that during hunting, they move, stop, move etc until catch the prey, meaning that they don't want to be visible to their target

Anyway a new example:

December 5, morning:

"It's quite cold today"
"Snow becomes more frequent"
"I wouldn't like to stop hugging".
"Quiet, kids please"
"Think that after food, it's hot bath's time"
"Oh, yes. I can't wait for this bath"

the following example is out of every logic but it's game, correct?

"Why should we go to the dentist?"
"Because your tusks need to be long and sharp. It's a tool for survival. They are full of mollusks again"

Another one

Dawn in the desert near a waterhole

"I see sandgrouse flock to the water. I should be ready."

A few moments later near the waterhole
"Good, I stored enough water"
"Back to the nest now"
"My chicks are thirsty".
But..snatch

"I was lucky. I caught one of the birds"
