The zoo has a 10 episode series on the CBC (a Canadian TV network) called Arctic Vets which follows veterinary, conservation and research, and animal care teams. It airs Friday nights at 8:30pm EST.

The zoo staff is prepping and ready to begin vaccinating 60-80 animals in their care for covid as soon as the vaccine gets approved for use in Canada.

Snow leopards Batu, Kyanada and Bodhi are all headed to Vancouver as they are unnecessary to future SSP plans. Batu is an older girl so past her prime anyway. The boys... well they are just too related to other snow leopards to be of any real use. They will however make an excellent addition to Vancouver's collection.
